A true innovation with Mexican roots. That's how I'd define Café Garat. They don't discard buttery pastry or the now standard sizing of coffee beverages. They nonetheless have created a curious yet palatable offer of drinks with Mexican chilli and other strong spices in them. To the typical Earl Gray I drink Garat adds lavender. Not bad! Plus prices are very reasonable for the Polanco area.

The store was quite busy when I arrived but soon started to quiet down. The service was good the decor is exactly what you'd expect from Tierra Garat. One small complaint would be that there was poor ventilation.

Nice coffee shop, good ambiance & coffee :) Internet works decently. Sadly, now is frequent to see people asking for money to get in... management should do something about this.

It's a good place but the prices are way to high for people who earn a low salary . When. I arrive to the place the cashier was kind of rude and very unpolite with me cause I was not wearing expensive clothes .

Orange and ginger latte is so delicious and unique! We went to another one of their locations also. Tried it hot and iced, both delicious

Very nice and cozy place. The decoration of the place is really nice. And the concept of the place is also very cool and different. Besides of offering good coffee. You and add some Mexican chocolate flavor that are very tasty and interesting mixes. Really nice concept and you should try. Could be a bit pricey. I didn’t try the food the offer, just the drinks.

Seems like a very fancy cafe and the concept is good. But their food is terrible. I had a pretty awful overpriced sandwich. The Brad was hard as a rock, to the point that is was difficult to chew without making a mess. The dressing for the sandwich was too sweet and the pork and chorizo were very bland in favour. I don't thing I'll visit this place again.
